SM-T520 Battrey drain fast

Hello and thanks for accepting me in your community..Please may I ask if anyone can help me..I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro SM T520 and very happy with it but the battery drains so fast...to recharge it may take 5hrs and I think its normal but it drains from 100 to 0 in an hour or little more...is it normal or can I do sonrthing to help battery lifetime? thanks

In Settings under Usage, you should find a list of Apps with an indication in percentage terms the ones that are most power hungry....

Also, you should check the Notifications section in your Settings and switch off those App notifications that you are constantly dismissing, and keep those that you find genuinely useful to you...

Finally, don't leave any services switched on when you are not using them .... ie Wifi etc. You might also wish to set your screen brightness to "auto"

These measures should help you improve your battery life ....

Hi, I have same tab, but with a little different issue. I can use my tab for a few hours before it requires a recharge (that's when I use it), so an hour or just over does sound fairly quick drainage. I try to only keep things switched on that I am using at the time (WiFi, Bluetooth, Screen Rotation etc.). The issue with mine though is the battery drains at a rate of about 8% per day when the tab is fully powered off. I have also noticed Samsung music app open in task manager when it has not even been used. I take it you do not have any off these issues with your battery drainage problem. Regards, Neil
