Samsung Galaxy Tab GT-P1010 line2 apk

I got my galaxy tab wifi only version and try to get the line2 apk
to download but can't find in the mrket even go to www.line2com still can get it,
Any help please

Well Line2 is available in the UK Market so it's probably a Regional/Carrier thing.

Your much more restricted in the US than we are in the UK. So much for the USA being the land of Freedom :blink:

It should be available on the Market. That is where I got mine from.

I just looked and its there. Try searching for "line 2".

I too just got the new Samsung Galaxy Tab WiFi only GT-P1010, 2.2 Froyo. I looked in the Market Store and the Line 2 did not show up under the "Line 2" name. Neither did TextFree, and some others that I am used to using on my iPod, even though the apps are known to be available for Android, etc.

I called Samsung to ask "why not". I was told the 2.2 Froyo on the new WiFi only tab does not support the apps that are not showing up in the "store". He could not tell me if, nor when they would be available. He said it was up to the apps writers to upgrade their Android software to run on these brand new Tabs, etc.

If anyone knows anything to the contrary, please let us know.

The plot thickens......

orlandotek is from the US just like you....and he has no trouble finding it on the US Market site.

Forgive me for being cynical, but could this be because your Tab is wifi only, and the US Carriers don't want you using your device for making phone calls :ph34r: and could this all tie in with US versions of the Tab having telephony disabled.

Or is it just me ?

Another possibility is that the Android Market associates the Tab (mine is in the U.S.) model GT-P1010 with their data base of known Tabs and does not find it there for certain apps, since the tab is such a new model. Perhaps all they need to do is let their Market database "catch up" with the new models being produced.

By the way, I saw on another forum someone having the same problem and he is using his Android phone to transfer the apps that are not showing up in the Market using, what he called BT, which I assume he means through his Blue Tooth connection.

Hope there is a permanent Android Market fix soon.

Are they paid or free apps? If they are free APK's then why not try 4shared or megaupload etc
