Anyone get the webcam to work???

BTW, if someone suggests an app that actually works, I'll be happy to put your name in a book I'm writing that's being published by Pearson on the Galaxy Tab in January 2011 (if you want) and acknowledge your help with this task.

There are other options for phone to phone video. None of them have worked well for me. I tried Fring, Tango, and Qik. None would give video as smooth as Skype for the PC. Nothing I have seen looks anything like the quality on the commercials.
Looks like no mention for me! I would settle for a working app.

Sure, however I will be in and out today as it's my birthday and I have both lunch and dinner plans. I should be available between 2:00-4:00pm eastern time or after 7:30pm tonight if that is better.

Thanks for helping me to test... if I can get this to work, my publisher is willing to let me add a chapter at the tail end of the book that covers video chat. If we can get it to work...

I have a verizon version of the galaxy tab. When I downloaded the Qik app it never saw an option for live chat. Is there another version of the Qik app?

I'm in "talks" with Qik right now and apparently they are working on an app upgrade that will provide the Tab with video chat... as soon as I know more, I'll share it here.

Just tried to use QIK on my ATT tab and it crashed it three times. I would start recording a message (I saw no LIVE chat option) and in three seconds it would freeze, crash my tab to where I had to hold the power button down for a good ten seconds to get it to come back on.
I love the idea of the tab but certain things like this are not a smooth as I would have liked although it could be AT&T and not the tab itself. I'm considering taking it back and switching to Verizon or Sprint.

searched a lot yesterday before i end up here. I also tried Clearsea however the image on the pc is not clear. Could it because of my connection?
please let me know if there are updates/apps that i can use to make it work.
