I use CoPilot Live 8 here in the UK, and find that it works perfectly on the Tab. It also has Philippines mapping

get Osmand. it's free on the Market. after installing, just download the map.
you can also try Navdroyd.

Hi, just got my P1000 last week, and i LOVE it!
For GPS in the Philippines, I use the pre-installed Maps app (so far, it's the fastest to load map info), and for tracking, I use Open GPS Tracker and My Tracks (pretty accurate, but had some hiccups here and there). I've no pre-loaded maps, I just get the map info from Google Maps and Open Street Map (used in conjunction with my Smart Bro SIM card for 3G data connection).
Pretty useful when we went on a trip to unfamiliar Angono last week.
*Still* looking for an app that gives real time navigation (i.e., a voice that tells me when to turn left or right, traffic info, etc) here in the Philippines (at least in the Greater Manila Area). Any leads would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers!

yup, doesn't work here(at least for me). anybody have better luck using CoPilot in manila?
***edit***
just got a newer version (8.2.0.368) which *seems* to work (will be test driving tomorrow with "Lisa") , but still doesn't show the street / subdivision that i wanted to go to. oh well, hope they keep updating the Philippine map for us users here in our neck of the woods.
cheers,
hans

I use Copilot Live, because it stores the maps on the device. A map covering Major roads + Principal cities is available for your Country.

I have checked the Android Market and the CoPilot website but there seems to be no available version for asia particularly the Philippines. Please send me a link if anyone out there finds one or knows how to get one... thanks!
