I have read a lot of reviews about how slow ppl say their browser is. I have been using Firefox 4 on my PC, Samsung Galaxy S and SGT.

I have found it very useful as they all share favorites, passwords and open screens. It is very easy to use with a great search engine built in.

Slide the screen to the left to expose forward and back controls and a easy favorites button. Slide right to see your open tabs and to open a new tab. Go all the way up and start typing in the url bar and it not only can be used for urls, but it starts searching your visited pages, favorites and also can be used to search the web.

Anyway, its free and hope it helps your net surfing and pc synchronizing experience.

Lack of flash is the killer for me too. That said I find chrome significantly faster on the pc.

Miren is said to be the quickest followed by skyfire and then dolphin.

If they can get the bug fixed for the browser crashes I'd be happy with whatever.

If firefox starts supporting flash I'd switch to it from dolphin HD.

I've definitely found Miren to be faster than Dolphin, Firefox, and the standard browser. However, Dolphin will sync with Xmarks for IE and I do like its functionality - gestures, slide to get to bookmarks, etc. So far it seems only Firefox maintains the full directory / subdirectory structure of synced bookmarks (which ARE automatic once you set up the sync). Others have no subfolders? Still looking for that perfect browser that has the best of all of these features.

To sync your home pc with mobile devices, install firefox 4 on your pc and also on your device. Go to settings > sync on both devices, your phone will give you a 12 digit code. On your pc click new sync and type this code in. you can do this for many devices ie, SGT and phone. Can take a couple of seconds for the pc tabs to be available on your phone but they will show up.

Firefox is a big file to download tho, 25mb ish.

I dont seem to find it not having being too much of a problem. If I need to go to a website that needs flash I just copy and past the url into another browser but thats only once in a rare time. I hope mozilla update firefox our someone makes a flash addon.

Thanks, the sync now works fine.

Is there a Close button anywhere, I press back until it exits to the desktop, but it's still running ?

Afraid not.....

The Active Applications widget shows it is still running in the background whether I use "Back" or "Home"
