I have searched the forums, looked in the "manual", and searched the Samsung site and have not been able to find an answer.

I have an icon in the Notification bar on my Tab and I have no idea what it is or what it means.

It is on the right side, to the left of my WiFi notification. It looks like a crosshairs/target. I don't have any location services on (as far as I know) and I can't find this icon in any of the documentation.

Sorry if that is not a great description, but if anyone has a clue what that is I would appreciate it.

Thanks.

I think that might be the one for the phone network, mine shows it after reboot until it connects to my service provider.

Thanks - I didn't know you could do that. I added a screenshot to my original post with the icon in question circled in read.

Thanks again.

Thanks -- that icon shows the location settings on, the one I have seems to show that I have location services off. I didn't bother to look at location since I knew I had all my location services off. Didn't realize there would be an icon to indicate "off".

Thanks again.
