This is the 2nd bluetooth device that my Galaxy Tab has had problems with. The first was a bluetooth watch (sony ericsson MBW200) and now it's my new Lubix Stereo Bluetooth Headset. After a few minutes of use, it seems like my Galaxy Tab goes haywire and freezes. It actually acts like it's pegged at 100% cpu because it is terribly slow. The only way I can fix it is to power it off by holding down the power button, then powering it back on without a connection to the headset.

I can't be the only one with this issue since it has happened to me twice already. Help please!

-Eric

I am dealing with the same problem, but from a development perspective. As soon as I create a Bluetooth socket, and whether I go ahead and use it or not, the Tab slows down and becomes highly unresponsive. Nothing I do, short of forcing a shutdown, helps.

I'm thinking that it might require a firmware update, because it doesn't happen on any other devices that I have found.

Did I hear firmware update?

Im having tbe same issuewith my bluetooth keyboard.
Do any of the 300 viewers of this post have something to add?

Is it just me, or are these GT forums remarkably devoid of solutions/workarounds?

Love my GT, but about to let it go for something far far far more supported...

Alright then... A little encouragement.
Marcie- what bluetooth devices are you using, and do you use it (them) for over, say 30 minutes?

I use for 30 minutes at a time, sometimes less. I have my tab hooked up via bluetooth to my pc and send files, music, and photos back and forth.

Rob an Eric; looks like we be 3 out of the 400 or so viewers
of this thread who are having . . . Issues.

We could get empirical about this- isolate and quantify shared causitive factors (like basic config, apps, etc.).
Then follow thru with marcie et al to see what they are doin right?

I have been using a stereo bluetooth headset to listen to music, recordings, podcasts, etc... I've used the Lubix BT Stereo Headset and the Motorola S9 - both eventually cause the Galaxy tab to all of a sudden freeze. It's not exactly freezing though. It just slows down to the point that I cannot do anything except a hard reset. It's like the CPU is at 100%. Oh... I also had the problem with a bluetooth watch that I had. I originally thought it was the watch or the application that goes along with the watch, but I guess not. I can't find any known issues or resolutions online

I am one of said viewers and apparently #4 having the same issues. I use a Motorola S9 and it happens exactly as previously stated. I listen to podcasts on my vibrant (xune broke) for hours with no issues, I switch to the tab while charging the vibrant and my tab also freezes and must be rebooted as well. It always happens with more than 30 minutes of music playback regardless of player. Using double twist as of late.
