Word, excell, ppt ,PDF documents transferred from PC to microSD card of Tab in bulk memory mode can they be opened using the thinkfree office of the Tab or does these documents have to go through the kites software.Using kites software will tie down the Tab to one PC. If it is possible to transfer and open documents in bulk memory mode will enable transfer from any PC and opening just like e-book readers. I want this to be confiemed befor purchase.
Can any body help pl.

You don't need to use Kies to transfer files to your Tab - it can be connected as "Mass Storage" (Settings, USB Settings) and then works like any external storage drive. Adobe reader is available on The Market but most eReaders will read pdfs.

And you can use Kies on as many PCs as you want - I know, I have it on my desktop PC, my laptop and my work PC. If you try synchronising contacts and calander between more than one PC and your Tab, you may run into problems but for file transfer it works fine.

Good luck with your purchase.

If I email it to myself then I can save it and open it. It looks great too! Just wish it would be easier.

The only downside is that the screen power savings comes on too quick and the document reader cant be adjusted to not use power mode when a doc is opened?

The Software that comes out of the packet is fine, but for PDF's I also use Beamreader, which is fantastic, quick and free. M
