I have a canon mp620 wifi printer. I can access the print menu on the tab from within several apps. When I try to print from the tab, it searches for a printer but can never find mine. I know the printer works via wifi from other pc's. Does the print feature on the Galaxy tab utilize blue tooth or wifi? The tab is connected to my wifi network same as the other pc's. I can't find specific settings on the tab to manually set up either. Has anyone experienced this or have knowledge of how to set this up?

I've been using PrinterShare from the Market to print from the tab and it works great. I've been able to print to my office computer from home even.

Is it posible to print it from the tab using USB cable to printer? or is it just using wifi for printer connection?

I am trying to print with my galaxy tab to a Canon pixma ip100 printer. I want to print with a bluetooth connection. Printershare does the job, but i cannot connect to my printer because it is not supported. Does anyone know how i can print pdf with a bluetooth connection? When i send the file to the wireless printer, the printer does not recognize the pdf file and all i get is some weird characters on my paper.

i use ip100 to print from my galaxy tab using cortado workplace . It's in the market. Works perfect, and free.

I just purchased an HP bluetooth printer and am trying to connect it to my tab. I have also purchased Printer Share Premium. My tab and printer paired up, but when I go to print I get interal error. I choose a photo from my gallery and then select my printer (which shows up) and when I do this it says processing for a long time and then internal error. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

first, does printershare web site list your specific printer as being supported? ( they don't have all the printers drivers yet, but expanding very rapidly. if that is the case, you can put printershare software (for pc) on ur pc and click remote printers with prinetshare and it will print via your pc. ...if u have the printer as the default in your pc.

works just as effectively this way.
i started out via pc, then my driver came available and i moved over the the nearby soption in printershare.

once u get it right, printershare is GREAT

Supposedly you are only supposed to be able to print to a Samsung printer, but this is not completely true. You can get the Google "Cloud Print" app (free and assuming you have Google Chrome on you PC and a Gmail email account, etc.) and it will read you PC printer connections and allow you to print from your Galaxy Tab to the printer of your choice.

You will also need the "Chrome to Phone" app. All the installation instructions are explained at Google Cloud Print.

Like Maris, I use PrinterShare and it connects perfectly (wirelessly) to my HP Photosmart C7200 series.

PrinterShare identifies nearby wifi printers and should connect if your printer is on their list of compatible equipment - I would have though the HP C4380 would have been on the list.

Have you bought the full version (not the trial which is all the free download is)?

Hi I have hp printer at the office and it is connected to wifi wireless router and my tab is also connected to the same router I installed the printershare put it didn't work!!! Any other solutions?

There is an App called HP iprint PDF, it will only print images and PDF docs but it works fine for those formats with my wifi HP printer.

When you say "it didn't work," exactly what do you mean? Did it see the printer but fail to print to it? Have you contacted the app developer? They will try to help.

If you have Chrome, try Cloudprint.

Could you please elaborate a bit more on this. I have chrome on pc with cloud print properly configured (I can see and use cloudprint printers from e.g. the printshare app on the galaxy tab). BUT I cannot find any CloudPrint app by Google in the Market (neither from the GalaxyTab nor online, where you should see them all, regardless of country, carrier, phone). And if I try to print directly from the Galaxy internet browser, I just get a message saying that "it is possible to print only on samsung printers", and no ClourPrint printers are listed to print to.
So either there is no need to install any Cloud Print app (supposing support is already integrated in the browser) and samsung has somehow crippled the browser to disable Google CloudPrint, or it is really necessary to install a CloudPrint app but I cannot find it anywhere (not a cloudprint app by google, just a third party cloudprint app that doesn't integate in the browser,mail, etc in any way).

Of course using cloudprint would be much more convenient than PrintShare et simili, since you don't need to copy/paste urls etc.

I can't get printing to work either.

I have a laserjet upstairs connected to my wired network via a fileserver. However, I can't see how to print to it. There are many printing apps I could buy, but I don't want to buy them all and find that none of them work.

Thus my question is this. I have my Tab connected to my home network via WiFi. i can see and transfer files from that network, but have no idea how I print to it.

I don't think Google itself has a cloud print app. I use Cloud Print Beta by Paolo Fernandes which is in the Market and it works fine.

But doesn't that require you to be running a PC logged into gmail though? How do you use your printer if it is on a local network?

Hi, I have similar problem! I'm using a Brothers wireless printer & had purchased an app (Printer Share) & try on a free app (Print Bot), both of these apps says printing sent but nothing comes out dorm my printer! Please help, thanks.
