[Guide] Flashing Samsung Galaxy Tab

[Guide] Flashing Samsung Galaxy Tab

Pre-requisite

  • Galaxy Tab Flash program v1.3 (Odin) (
    Download    )
  • ODIN V1.7 : DOWNLOAD
  • Unlocked GT-P1000 Device (Galaxy Tab)
  • Latest Samsung Kies or Device drivers installed.
  • Data link cable
  • Firmwares/.Pit/CSC/Modem Files -> HERE - pay attention to special notes about each firmware if exists.


Procedure :

1.Download the Galaxy Tab Flash Program (Odin) and execute it.

2.Check Repartition, Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time (without repartition if it's local update)

3.Enter Device into Download Mode( Enter the device into Download Mode by pressing down on Volume Down button and Power On button at the same time.)

4.Connect the Device to PC via Data Cable. Make sure ID:COM box highlighted yellow that the device is connected to the PC.

5.Select .PIT Files & .PDA files.

6.Hit Start Button and wait for Pass to appear on the screen.

7.Once the device boots up, confirm the downloaded version name and etc. : *#1234#
For full reset :*2767*3855#

Tried flashing my T-mobile tab with the latest European ROM, but couldn't even get started - the ID com in Odin didn't light yellow :-(, though I precisely followed instructions. Any ideas? Maybe it has to do something with the fact that my tab is locked?

Thanks. Stnading by... another question though if you don't mind :-)... Would flashing a US T-mobile galaxy tab with a European firmware also unlock it?

i flashed my Tab with latest european (p1000xxjm6). everything worked same as on video. but did not reset after pass. my tab had still yellow download screen. when i powered off and on back, it seems like in loop. samsung screeen, some vibration and again.
