Glad to see unlocking worked for you. I will be trying it as soon as I buy my 'o2' Tab tomorrow. I was interested but did not understand your reference to 'dual sim'. Can you run dual sims on the Tab? I have copy a Iphone & Blackberry, both from China that work perfectly and I love their dual sim capacity.

Tried method one and it worked on T-Mobile Galaxy Tab. Shows network un-lock but cannot complete calls because dials google voice by default regardless of sim-card. Thanks a million man. Anyway I can donate?

no. different phone, different solution. your actually lucky you didnt brick your phone by using the wrong guide to do this.

have a look somewhere that actually does stuff for your phone.

I am following the directions but Odin 3 v1.7 does not detect my tab. When I connect my tab to my pc (win xp) and its in mount mode then the pc sees it(Odin does not see it in this mode either). What is going on? Any suggestion? Yes I have googled and those suggestion have not worked either.

00181462 is the "line number" of the hex key you need to edit.
Once you open that file using the Hex Editor, scroll down until you see 00181462 in the left column.
That line will have 7 "ff" pairs, followed by "02." That is what you need to change, at your own risk...

Hey..found a quick n easy way of unlocking galaxy tab after messing up nv_data.bin
Goto>google play>dowload app 'Galaxy tab unlock' n follow the instructions.
