Is there any way to increase (replace) internal memory in the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 for a do it yourselfer?
I'm running out of space for new or bigger APPs and would like to increase
internal memory.

In a word, nope. At least not without physically removing all the solder and then getting Samsung to give you a memory chip that is upgraded for that specific device and re-soldering it. :nea:

If you are running low on space, it might be a good idea to remove some unwanted apps from your device, since it is not possible to move apps to your SD card.
You can, however, move your documents, music, videos, etc., to your external card to gain some more space.:pardon:

Thanks also for the answer to the question I was about to ask. I wish that were not true. I have read that the card can be changed in some of their phones; I wonder what the reasoning is behind this decision. There's certainly more space in this tablet for a socket than in a phone.

I rooted and swapped the internal memory with my Sandisk 32gB card a couple of months ago and its the best move I've ever made with it. I've got dozens of apps installed and still have 29gB free. I haven't had one problem after doing it.

So how did you get this done? I would really love to do this to mine as I also have a 32GB card.

Thanks!

It is impossible to to do. :nea: Note my post here: http://www.thegalaxy...dpost__p__55238
Rooting is futile for this purpose. It is not meant for that. Rooting is for gaining Superuser/Root access to system files/directories/functions.
