I have a Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 WiFi running 4.0.4, and it couldn't be easier.

From Gallery, pick the Album, then pick the picture you want to delete, then Settings (in the top right). The first choice is Delete.

If you want to delete more than one picture...once you are in the Album, hit the Settings (still top right), and choose Select item. Pick the ones that you wish to delete, and there will be a nice trash can at the top.

Of course, if you are running some other Android version, it will probably be different. So if you want a better answer, provide more info.

BTW, the easiest way is to connect your tablet to your computer, navigate to the album, and delete the pictures. That's how I usually do it. Then I back-up the pictures that I want to keep on my computer.

Galaxy Tab 2 7.0" WiFi (GT P3113 TSR) running 4.0.4 ICS.
Also 2 Android phones: Samsung Galaxy S III (SGH-I747M) running 4.0.4, and LG Optimus L5 (LG-E617G) running 4.0.3.

Hello,

I have a Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Model GT-P3113 and can't get them photos off this tablet. When I go to the camera, it only shows the last 8 I took yesterday. The rest have already been downloaded to my main computer. When I go to gallery, it shows all the pictures but no delete button or garbage can. When I hook it to my computer to delete that way, also only get the last 8 photos. Man this thing has me stumped.

the Gallery App obtains photo's via Media Scan & stores these in a cache,
this includes any photo's you have synced when using 3G, Wi-Fi or usb connected to your PC

personally I use 'QuickPic' from Play Store :- https://play.google....PicFolder&hl=en

for your Gallery photos problem goto :

Settings > Application Manager or Apps or Applications. This will depend on your Android configuration and version.

Go to Applications > All

Scroll down and find Gallery and select it.

Tap on both the Clear Data and Clear Cache options. This will reset the cache and also clear the previously synced photo's from when you were on 3G, Wi-Fi or usb connected to your PC, from the Gallery app.

Go back to your Gallery app. You will notice that just your local photos and videos are listed.

Thanks for the quick reply. I did as you said and when I get to Applications I have no Gallery listed there?

Thanks
