Repositioning cursor. Text editing problem.
Posted 22 December 2012 - 07:31 PM (#1)
I recently bought the P5100 10.1 after always using a laptop. The problem I frequently come across is that when typing in text, if I realise I''ve made an error further back, once I''ve corrected it I cannot reposition the cursor back where I left off. No matter how carefully I tap the screen where I want to resume typing , the cursor generally appears four lines above . Also, sometimes when I press the arrow key to start a new paragraph the cursor won't move down a line space but just makes the key press sound. I'm an experienced computer user so find these problems frustrating. Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks.

I was also having this cursor problem, so I bought a cheap Bluetooth keyboard for $20 at my local supermarket (Dolphin brand). It's SMALL about the same width as the Tab, and has a carry bag and keypad cover. Has solved the problem completely. You use the arrow keys to navigate anywhere and also the screen keyboard in tandem if you want. Well worth getting one!

Thank you very much for your replies, I will definitely get a keyboard as the navigation keys seem like they would be the answer. Thanks again.
