I have a Samsung Galaxy 7" Tab. Android 2.3.3. I have installed a few apps from the Play Store, and now I wish to delete them however they do not allow for deletion. Please help.

It is a model#GT-P1000 running 2.3.3 Gingerbread.

Settings / Applications / Manage applications / All / select App and choose Uninstall..

If you find an App that will not uninstall......that is not an App that you have downloaded, it is a "core" App that was included with your Tab OS

These "core" Apps cannot be uninstalled unless your Tab has been rooted...

Some must not be uninstalled, because they are an integral part of the OS...

Thank You for the reply. The apps I am trying to delete are 100% downloaded from the App Store (Google Play). Some apps have an uninstall button, but these 4 in particular, do not have uninstall options. They are most definately downloaded, they are not core apps. My Tab has been rooted. It now works as a phone. It has build #GINGERBREAD.XXJQ1.

If they wont delete via the method I gave you....try deleting data and cache first, then try...

If your still not successful, have a word with the Developers on their App pages in Google Play....

You can delete them from the Play store itself. Click the trash can under the app on your MyApps page, and it will uninstall from your device.

Install ROOT EXPLORER.
If you 100% they are only downloads from google play, you can remove them easily with this programs.
You can delete other things, but you have to be careful not to uninstall/delete core programs as you will cause the tab to crash etc.
Then you will have to start from scratch and do fresh firmware install.
Can i ask why have you no yet updated to ICS?
Best wishes
