Hello guys. I have searched all around the net and cannot find a solution for what is wrong with my tab. I've had it for about a year. I had my tablet on my lap and it fell to the floor ... now it has contracted the BSOD. It didn't fall very far and we have carpet so I don't think that would even be the cause of the issue. The backlight, alert sounds, vibrate all work fine, but nothing will show on the screen. I'm starting to doubt there is a way to fix it myself. Is there any way I can fix this or anywhere I can have it sent to be fixed? My tablet is my baby, and I feel so defeated ATM. :(

a couple of things you could try, put your Tab on the mains charger, see if the screen shows 'charging & a %',
if not, try pressing the power button for a second, to see if the screen shows it,
if not, leave the Tab on the mains charger for an hour,
then try holding the power button down for at least 30 seconds or until the screen does show something

if none of that works, you may have loosened an internal connection with the fall, even if nothing os broken,
there may be a local repairer who can check it over for you, or get in touch with Samsung to find the nearest repair centre

Afraid it sounds like you need a local Samsung Service Centre Location.....

its a simple fix. i fix these problems daily in my shop. open the back cover. there are no screws to open it so get a very very small flat head screw driver or a blade. wedge your very sharp knife of screw driver between the screen and the outer shell and start lifting the the screen. go around the screen and screen should pop out as its held with few screws in there.
finally when it is out, on the right hand side is a very small connection and that connection is very easily becomes loose. pop that back in there and it should be done.
