Undo Overcome 2.3.6 and revert to Froyo - How?

Ever since I rooted my P1000 and installed Overcome 2.3.6 I appear to be beset by problems - not the least of which is the constant dropping of WiFi.

I should dearly like to revert to Froyo, but a simple "Factory Reset" does nothing but remove all my data - the 2.3.6 is still there.

How do I "overcome" my problem?

BTW I have tried the XDA forum, but there have been no replies (!?)

I don't know if the info is on the site, here, but, on the xda forum, search for restocking and you should find the info. On the XDA forum, people are not too keen on replying to questions, where the answer is already posted somewhere on the forum.

Thanks Glussier. I couldn't immediately find anything on XDA about restocking, but I'll have another go. Mainly my problem is the constant dropping out of WiFi which I am currently experiencing. Do you - or any viewer - have any ideas?

Thanks for the link Bart. Are there any instructions anywhere as to how I may apply this patch? I mean basically a step-by-step guide.

copy the "WiFi Patch" to the same root drive that you copied (Overcome_7_Series_v4.1.0_Wipe.zip)
long press the power button & select "Recovery" .... using the menu & home button navigate to "install menu"
navigate to “choose zip from internal sdcard” select "WiFi Patch"
Confirm, and let the installation begin!

ajm600, did you have any joy with the patch? I'm experiencing some issues with wifi dropping out but not to the point that it really bothers me. If the patch showed a marked improvement then I'll apply it myself...(",)
