Hello, I just joined. I searched, but did not see an answer for my specific question. I purchased a Galaxy Skyrocket II along with the Galaxy Tab 8.9 16G last December. I didn't care for the Skyrocket, so I went back to using my Iphone 3GS, but have been using my Galaxy Tab quite a bit. Unfortunately, I only have a 250mb/month data plan for my tab, so I would like to use my Iphone sim with unlimited data in my Galaxy Tab for a while to see if the tab can replace my Iphone for all my data usage. If so, I can then move my unlimited data plan to the Galaxy Tab and the 250mb plan to the Iphone. My question is: Can I do this, or is there a reason the Iphone sim or unlimited plan won't work with the Galaxy Tab? Is AT&T likely to have a problem with it?
Thanks,
Tom

Using Iphone Sim in Galaxy Tab 8.9

FYI, I stopped in to the AT&T store and they told me that it would not work because the data types are different for tablets than smartphones. They also told me that they do not have a larger data plan for tablets than 250mb/month, which is odd, since I had 2GB/month when I got the tablet until I switched it to 250mb/month. Hmmmm.....I don't really trust anything they tell me in the store, but what I got out of the conversation is not to bother with a tablet, since I will be constantly paying for overages on my data. The rep even agreed that 250mb/month is not enough for tablets. Anyway, that's what AT&T told me when I asked, if anyone is interested.
