I have samsung galaxy tab2 10.1 model gt-p5100, i had installed 32 GB external SD card, whenever we install any new application or transfer via BT, by default all such applications get installed in internal SD card but since i want to transfer such huge application to external SD card , i tried to use file explorer and use option cut/paste to transfer it to ext sd card, after this i went to settings /storage but still i could see same application in SD card and not in EXT SD card, any solution for this
My second question is how to have option to install directly in ext SD card when transferring via BT from my laptop ?? as it goes directly in BT folder to internal storage by default.

Has the SD problem with the GT-P5110 been fixed as I still cannot move apps to the SD card?

I have a 32 gig SD Class 10 the device is rooted even not rooted the same cannot use the SD.

The device is quite useless without the SD working but still ok of internet especially when travelling.

Is there a ROM where Apps are allowed to be moved to the SD card?

Any help appreciated.

No it hasn't.... You can only put data on the external SD Card, such as Music, Photo's, and documents etc.

Apps will not transfer....

As wizz stated, this option of moving apps to your SD card has been removed since the Jellybean update, which is what I will assume you have. :pardon: Besides, most apps have a very small footprint, so moving them to SD really isn't necessary. :nea:
If you are having space issues, you might want to consider removing an unwanted app from your device. OR, try moving things that are system specific, like movies, documents, music, etc., to your SD card, by using a File manager. ES File browser is a favorite here in the forum, found in the Play store. :good:

P.S. Please do yourself, and all of us, a favor and edit your signature with your Device Model, Model Number, and Android version.

I have run out of space on my internal memory on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and would like to transfer my apps to my 32GB memory card. How do I go about doing this? On my phone it relatively simple, but I don't see a button or Tab to click to move them.

You will find some explanations here:
http://www.thegalaxy...__fromsearch__1

In short, you can only store data on the external SD card; not the actual applications

Note 10.1 2014 LTE/WiFi
SM-P605 rooted
Android 4.4.2 stock Nordic

I9500 rooted Stock 4.4.2

SM-N910F 4.4.4
