I know that this is probably a little outdated but wanted to put it out there in case anyone else was having an issue. I have a windows 7 machine that would not connect to my verizon tab either. Found out that I had usb debugging turned on. In order to connect you can't have usb debugging turned on. To turn it off go to settings->applications->development and the top option is usb debugging. You can't be connected to the computer in order to turn it on or off. Just a little help in case someone else gets as frustrated as I did only to find that it was my own doing. doh!

This answer may be too late but same thing happened to me and solved in 5 minutes by updating the driver.
It's not showing in My Computer(Windows 7) but it shows in " Devices and Printers" with yellow triangle error mark.
right click then choose Property then Driver update (select update from search online)
It self found the driver and updated then immediately shown in My Computer.
Hope this helps.

I am having a similar issue. It started after I installed software that allows me access to the storage card through my home network. So I am fairly sure it is a configuration problem. I have tried the other solutions suggested. My tab is rooted and works fine in every other way. I will update when I find a solution.

Hey did this work for you.

I know this is an old post, but deselecting USB debugging was the solution for me. I was having same issue as OP and now the P6210 shows up as a drive. Thanks. :D
