Having purchased The above model I have attempted to register same but can't find the model code.
can anyone help please.

Hello moderator,
I have my glasses on, I wear them all the time. I have tried a few times to register my product using the following CE0168. Now the C looks more like a Euro sign. Should the C and the E be part of the code or not.

ON the back of the tab you will have.........


The letters CE (followed by numbers) which stand for "Conformité Européenne" which means "European Conformity". They are a declaration by the manufacturer that his product meets the requirements of the applicable European Directive(s).
This is not your model number.


Your model should say GT-P5110

Then you will see your IMEI number and
Then your SN serial number.

Both your IMEI and SN can also be found in Settings - About Device - Status

The mystery deepens, When you try to register your Galaxy tab GT P5 110 you fill in the enclosed attachment, model number or model code, model number fails ,so where is the Model code, well I can't find it nor can I find the IMEI number
. Going to Settings-status, just says normal. So for the moment I cannot register my device. but never mind the answer lies somewhere but for this 81 yr old it still remains elusive.
Thank you for you help so far. Oh dear now I can't send the attachment never mind you will get the gist of what i have been trying to say

Note...... GT-P5110 should be how you put the model number in.

Very good, things have gone through without the failed caption.
Whilst it does not say I have been registered it dosent say I have not so i must assume that
things are ok.

Yes, account created and site transferred me to the "cyber registration"
There I entered the Mod no as on the back of the device. That failed
Then tried the Device details as in "Settings". That failed
Finally tried the "Check" option on the cyber registration page
See attachment. That also failed.
I then contacted Samsung SA by e-mail from their site with this attachment
The Customer service consultant then advised me that is unnecessary to register the device.

Device is registered on SamsungDive
