Dear all,
I am using my Galaxy Tab 10.1 to do video chats with Skype and Google Talk. Since the build in microphone of the tab will not pick up my voice due to its location when the Tab is cranked up in its sleeve, I am plugging in the headset to use its microphone.
Unfortunately the sound output of both applications is still coming through the speakers and not the headphones, even though the microphohe of the headset is being used.
I suspect, that both applications give out the sound as a 'notification' instead of as a 'media' source. I noticed that even though I have a headset plugged in, alarms such incoming mails are still put out via the regular speakers of the Tab.
Has anyone the same issue with these applications and sound output? I would like to know if this is a general issue with the Tab or if I do have something misconfigured.

Have you made sure that something as simple as pushing the audio jack fully into the socket, is not the cause of the problem.

On most Samsung Tab models a hard push is required, which is followed by a "click" which is confirmation that it's inserted fully.....
