I'm trying to figure out how to load music on my tab. Do I have to repurchase all of my music or is there a way to transfer from my laptop?

I use Google music manager (copy to the cloud then listen anywhere)

Yes, there is a way to do this. You have to get your music into mp3 or m4a format (there may be others), and then you have to get it onto your tablet using either Samsung Kies or FTP. Store underneath the Music folder. Create a folder underneath Music for each album, and drop in your mp3 files and your album jpg. Using this method, I have loaded up my tablet with about 6 GB of music.
Google's cloud services are free now, but may not always be free. Somehow, I can't see (in the future) paying to listen to music that you bought, beamed back down to you at lower quality. (Google supposedly reserves the right to downgrade quality if the service is overcrowded.) But maybe that's just me.
I do, however, have some issues with my method, and was just about to post a topic when I found this one. My Google Music has always crashed when trying to manipulate album and artist view, but not carousel (new albums) view. I'm not sure whether this is a Google programming issue, or something to do with my data. I also have been editing my own mp3 metadata through Windows Explorer in Vista. (And supposedly Microsoft has disabled this in Windows 7, putting out blanks if you try to change your song titles. Grrrr. Considering that Microsoft tells me that my Rachmaninov Piano Concertos is a Patsy Cline album, it's a good reason for me to keep Vista around.)
I have been enjoying the music very much---just staying away from the views that make it crash!
