Many Canadian customers were waiting to buy the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 this week – on June 22nd to be precise.

In what’s becoming all to familiar in the world of gadgets and mobile devices, Galaxy Tab 2 buyers will have to be a little more patient – we’ll say until at least July 6th, because that’s what the biggest Canadian electronics retailer, Future Shop, reports.

Future Shop is currently the only retailer in Canada accepting Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 pre-orders. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 is priced at for $349.99, or $50 less than the American price.

Future Shop only has limited stock to fill the existing pre-orders so it might be safer to expect another delay in the works for the Ice Cream Sandwich-enriched tablet with 1 GB RAM and a 1 GHz TI OMAP 4430 dual-core processor.
