After convincing myself I needed a new toy, and searching the internet high and low for just the right thing, and rejecting the obvious/popular/desperate because they were inadequate, I decided on the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and ordered it yesterday. I tried to buy it locally but no luck. With tax it would have been very slightly more than Amz was charging, even including one-day delivery. So it came today. As I type, I'm charging the thing. I registered at Samsung's site and downloaded a readable manual (what came with the device is just right for a Barbie doll to read). So the sucker better be amazing -- I want to show it off at work!
Devices:
Ectaco Jetbook Lite (uses simple AA batteries!)
Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) GT-P3113, running ICS, "born" June 13, 2012
