i bought the tab thinking that it would be some fancy kindle like thing. I like to read while on travel and such. There must be generation gap. Although I have been using PC's for many years, I could do nothing with the tab. Nothing! Eventually my granddaughter transferred Word files and I can read those now, but I would not know how to transfer another file without her help. Now, to really make me happy, I would like to download a few of my excel files and all my music. I have tried everything, but to no avail. Can someone help? Thanks, Rainer

Samsung Support, Create a Samsung Account, Register your Product
(settings, about device, status, scroll down for Serial Number)

& Kies software for your PC

& why not edit your profile signature to include your Tab model, tap your "UserName" (top of screen),
tap "My Profile", tap "Edit my profile", tap "Change Signature" :-
ADD :- your Galaxy Tab Model Number
