SD Card Issues Apps to SD, File Managers, etc. Please post here.
Posted 06 June 2012 - 05:20 AM (#1)
Just bought a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, however, I can't seem to find the SD Card in MyFiles. The SD Card is recognized when I connect the tab to my PC, and was able to copy a video. I have tried to unmount, mount, format etc., but nothing seems to work.
Any ideas? Thanks -

The software is written for Windows, and as such, this particular program will not work on an Android operating system.
Nevertheless, there is a Bridge Scoring program available on Google Play.....just make sure it's compatible for your particular Tab by signing in with your GMail account...

Thanks for the heads up on the bridge android apps. Bought one, downloaded another free one. Neither worked properly. The purchased one, I spent 3 days with creator, he has not worked bugs out, had to get refund. That is why I want to know if I downloaded the windows program on my SD card, if it would run on my tablet.

Thanks for replying.
I guess that is the fall back position, but having invested in a 16Gb card for my camera, I would prefer to use that, plus my wife's camera uses the standard SD card.

The galaxy tab 2 can read USB UMS with the little usb adapter.
Just use a classic computer usb SD card reader.
It works with mine (P5110 with the stock android 4.0.3), a 16 Gb SDHC Card, and a cheap chinese SD card reader.
Galaxy Tab Model : 2 10.1
Galaxy Tab Number : GT-P5110

Thanks for that. I hope that my Android 4.0.4 version will do the same. I have a non-Samsung USB adapter which is NOT recognised. My Samsung one is on order.

The real problem is the Samsung UK web site which states that this USB connector is incompatible with the Tab 2
I suspect that the SD Card Reader will also work, but I will use my USB Reader.

Shouldn't be a problem. I currently have a 16GB in mine, no problems yet.
