Hi!

Just bought a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, however, I can't seem to find the SD Card in MyFiles. The SD Card is recognized when I connect the tab to my PC, and was able to copy a video. I have tried to unmount, mount, format etc., but nothing seems to work.

Any ideas? Thanks -

Maybe you must check type your microsd , microsd 32gb can support if you make type class 10 this type support high speed transfer , if you make microsd above class 10 , as class 4 or class 6 the card will bework so slowly and make your tablet be error and hang , sometime tablet can not read card, i now use sandisk microSDHC 32GB class 10 , and this card good workon tablet

I have a Galaxy Tab 2 10", GPT5113, , android 4.o I am older, but can use a computer. One reason I boought tablet was to download a bridge scoring app and make it portable to bridge card games. 2 apps do not work. I presently use a bridge scoring program on a laptop. They will not be making android or apple apps of the program. Can I save program on my SD card and run it on my tablet? I know tablet is Ice Cream and laptop is Windows 7. Since I am older, was not totally aware of what that meant. I have transferred music on my SD card and ran it on my tablet. But I don't know about a program. It is called Duplicate Scorer, which you probably don't need to know. Thx. tazzy1

No you can't......

The software is written for Windows, and as such, this particular program will not work on an Android operating system.

Nevertheless, there is a Bridge Scoring program available on Google Play.....just make sure it's compatible for your particular Tab by signing in with your GMail account...

Thanks for the heads up on the bridge android apps. Bought one, downloaded another free one. Neither worked properly. The purchased one, I spent 3 days with creator, he has not worked bugs out, had to get refund. That is why I want to know if I downloaded the windows program on my SD card, if it would run on my tablet.

As Wizz said.....no it will not work on the tablet. The music you copied will work as the songs are in a universal format thatcan be read by ICS , Windows or Linux

Hi, just brought new Samsung galaxy tab 2 with wi-fi and 16gb memory. Reading the on line Manaual, they say that i can insert a 32gb card, but the sales info says a 64gb card. Do you know if a 64gb will work with this tablet, as the price diffence is not a lot.

One of the uses for my Tablet is to view and edit my photographs when travelling. To do this I need to be able to read the camera's SD card (full size). According to the accessories leaflet that came with the Tab, either EPL-1PLBRE or EPL-1PL0BE should work. However, the Samsung site says these are incompatible with the Tab2 10.1
Has anyone used either of these devices or has another solution?

Use a Micro SD Card with a full size adapter in your camera and when you want to view it on Tab2 slip the MicroSD Card out of the adapter and insert it in the Tab

Thanks for replying.
I guess that is the fall back position, but having invested in a 16Gb card for my camera, I would prefer to use that, plus my wife's camera uses the standard SD card.

Hello,

The galaxy tab 2 can read USB UMS with the little usb adapter.
Just use a classic computer usb SD card reader.

It works with mine (P5110 with the stock android 4.0.3), a 16 Gb SDHC Card, and a cheap chinese SD card reader.

Thanks for that. I hope that my Android 4.0.4 version will do the same. I have a non-Samsung USB adapter which is NOT recognised. My Samsung one is on order.

My Genuine Samsung USB adapter arrived this morning and IT WORKS :clapping:

The real problem is the Samsung UK web site which states that this USB connector is incompatible with the Tab 2 :nea:

I suspect that the SD Card Reader will also work, but I will use my USB Reader.

I've just ordered a Sandisk 8 GB Class 10 SD card from Best Buy. I'm hoping it works with my Tab 2. I nearly bought a sync cable on Amazon, but it didn't specify that it was compatible with my tablet though it listed almost every other.

Shouldn't be a problem. I currently have a 16GB in mine, no problems yet.
