Hello.
Just got a Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 today, I got a 64gb micro sd card to go with it, and I cannot get the tab to recognise the card. It doesn't appear under storage in the settings page, nor does it appear in the My Files app. When I connect the tab to a PC via USB I can't see the card, and I can't see it in Kies either.
I've inserted the card in my PC with an adapter and it seems to be OK, I was able to transfer some videos to it.

Any ideas what the issue could be and how to force the tab to recognise the card?

Thanks

Looks like the answer to my own question is that it's not compatible with a 64gb card, I just swapped it for the 32gb card in my S3 and that works fine, luckily the 64gb card works in the phone so all's well that ends well :good:

SDXC memory cards use the newer "exFAT" file system that is more efficient for SDXC's large capacities, while SD and SDHC memory cards use the FAT32 file system. This difference is the reason that the new SDXC format is NOT backwards compatible with host devices that only take SD (128MB to 2GB) or SDHC (4GB to 32GB) cards.

The Samsung website specifically says that only up to 32GB SDHC cards are supported.

I had the same result. The 64G card I bought isn't recognized by my SGT2 7.0 but it works fine in my phone.
