Ok I just bought the new Galaxy tab 2 10.1, like many I am loading the heck out of it with apps, I have almost filled the 2nd page and now when I add a new app it makes a shortcut but does not show it the apps area unless I restart the tablet, is this a malfunction?

2nd question, there is a pre-installed app called video maker, well it seems to not be functioning properly, has anybody else had any issues with it, if so what can I do to resolve it?

If the problem cant be fixed how can I remove a pre-installed app, or better yet how can I update it and maybe that will fix the problem?

thanks in advance

Its generally best to keep your questions separate, ie an App questions in the app section . That way when a topic develops it helps the other noobs when they come along . However as this is such a new machine and you tab 2 people need to build up your members, I have left them as User help questions for now. Please post separately in future.

Pre installed apps cannot be removed unless rooted.
