when you did the Factory Reset, did you Un-Check the box "Automatic Restore"?, if not any problem being caused by your previous downloads or settings, would be restored also
Factory data reset
Use Factory data reset to return your device to its factory defaults. This setting erases all data from your device, including
your Google or other email account settings, system and application data and settings, and downloaded applications. After
a reset, you’ll be prompted to set up your device the next time you turn it on.
1. From the Home screen, Settings, Privacy.
(check the box "Back up my data", Un-check the box "Automatic Restore", this can be checked again after the reset,
but may restore the settings/data that was causing problems)
2. Touch Factory data reset, then follow the prompts to perform the reset.
The Facebook App causes many problems, use your browser instead to go into FB and save it to your browsers toolbar or shortcuts on your homescreen.

Also it wont stream movies from sites like projectfreetv. My kindle fire did this... the video box is just black. Ive checked to see if decoding and java script is enabled and its all the way it should be. Very frustrating that the kindle fire had none of these problems with such limited power.

Haven't seen you in the New Members section yet so here's some tips to get you started
Don’t forget to register your tab and download the User Manual
Samsung Support, Register your Product, Create a Samsung Account
(settings, about device, status, scroll down for Serial Number)
And why not Edit your profile signature to include your Tab model…….
Tap on your "UserName" (top of screen) - "My Profile" - "Edit my profile" - "Change Signature"
ADD :- your Galaxy Tab Model Number
Check out our Forum Help section.
The best way to get the most up to date official OS and software for your model, is to connect to your pc, launch Samsung Kies and see if you are offered an upgrade.
The Facebook App is as you say, terrible and it will stay running even when you close it, taking up Ram. Use your browser instead to go into FB and save it to your browsers toolbar or shortcuts on your homescreen.
As for your movies issue, I'm afraid I cannot help you. Hopefully a fellow Tab 2 member will help you out on that one.
Movies do stream to tabs. Google Play store is one place to get them.

I just wanted to know if there's a way to be able to play facebook games in my tab?
I'm using a P3110 and am pretty new to it. I read that flash is enabled on my system, but not with the adobe flash player. Besides that, not really seeing any flash player settings to tinker with.
I have registered my tab already just fyi.
Any help/suggestion is appreciated

Open the browser and tap the menu (upper right corner IIRC). From the drop-down menu, select "Desktop View". Now go to Facebook and it will load the full version where you can get to your games. Just be aware that most games will likely run very slow depending on how resource-intensive the specific game is.
I don't have my tab in front of me so those directions may not be exact, but should point you in the right direction.

hi! thanks for the reply
i did try to use desktop view, but...
well, i was specifically gonna play ghosts of mistwood (lol). i don't know if that will be any help.
so anyway, yeah i did try the desktop view option. what happens is that the game starts on the usual "send gifts" page. i just click the "play" tab to get the game loading, but it just says something like, the game should start soon and that if it doesn't start, i should have adobe flash installed. i haven't tried other games tho, but i think it might just do the same.

I did a little reading around different forums and it does seem like the desktop view is a little buggy in the built-in browser. Seems a little buggy in Chrome too. Some people suggest trying the Dolphin browser for better results. Maybe give that a try.
FYI: Chrome was auto-installed on my tab after the LG5 firmware update. But, this version of Chrome does not include the Flash plugin.

Also, i was wrong with the loading message. It says "This text should be replaced by the world in a moment. If it isn't, you may need to enable javascript." So it was javascript, not adobe flash. Sorry for that xD but, yes, javascript AND flash is enabled on both of my browsers.

This is commonly accepted as "shouting", and is frowned on in Forum circles.....
