I am having issues with my Verizon galaxy tab 7.

Here is what happened. When I got the tab about 1.5 yr ago i rooted with z4root so I could connect to adhoc networks. When 2.3.5 was released for it I could not upgrade(it always failed on the install screen) so I tried to unroot with the same program. That did not work either. about 2 weeks ago it started lagging real bad. I tried to do a factory reset but that did not help. So I found a rooted copy of 2.3.5 and flashed using hemdall. That fixed the lag issue and everything else seems ok. But now it gives me an error message that I am roaming and data is shut off in the pull down drawer. I don't have mobile service for it, i just use it for wifi. I can connect to wifi but still cannot get data in or out. And when I go into settings->about device->status my mac address, bluetooth address, and serial number are blank. Any ideas what happened.

the mac address, bluetooth address, and serial number are blank, because you have wiped your System/efs folder
to replace it, open your saved backup & copy the System/efs folder from there to your Tab

Awesome that would be easy... if i had made a back up. Oh well it was not really usable before i tried this and it's not usable now, no loss really.
