lots of tips & information on here, hope you Registered your Product
Samsung Support, Create a Samsung Account, Register your Product
(settings, about device, status, scroll down for Serial Number)

also download the User Manual, much better than the Quick Start supplied
& Kies software for your PC

& why not edit your profile signature to include your Tab model, tap your "UserName" (top of screen),
tap "My Profile", tap "Edit my profile", tap "Change Signature" :-
ADD :- your Galaxy Tab Model Number

if you can't find what you need in "Forum Search" feel free to ask in the forum section for your Tab Model

Thank you and the Moderating Team for the warm welcome - appreciate it!

Not only have I registered my Tab 2 7.0 etc., I've actually printed out the ENTIRE User Manual and have edited my Forum profile - somewhat. I've yet to include my Tab model and select a really good avatar. I'm still learning my way around the Forum (slightly different from another one I belong to) but getting there slowly but surely.

One quick question for you and/or other members is why can't I Log Out when I click the arrow next to my screen name? When I click there the box drops down but I can't seem to hold it open to Sign Out before it closes. Hmmmm. Does it matter what browser I'm using (IE vs. Firefox)? Help!!!
In the meantime, I've found a really nice case for my Tab 2 and screen protectors even though it's so new. Hooda thunk

We wouldn't normally answer questions in this section, but I'll make this a one off exception.

Are you talking on the PC or Tab.
On the PC, I have noticed the same issue when I use IE. What you have to do is go to the bottom of the page and "delete cookies" that way you will log off. Better still, use FIREFOX, it's a nice browser and you shouldn't have this problem.
On your Tab you can still find Delete cookies at the bottom of the page but use Dolphin HD it works well.
