I have a brand new Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 (GT-P3113). I had it turned on and when I went to plug it in, the screen turned off, and it would not turn back on (while plugged in). I held down the power button for about 5-7 seconds, and it loaded a page that reads:

Product Name: GT-P3113
Custom Binary Download: No
Current Binary: Samsung_Official

Downloading . . . .
Do not turn off target!!

What's going on? It's been on this screen for over half and hour, and I'm just praying I didn't kill it accidentally.

hold the power button, until your Tab switches off, plug in to mains charger & check charge %

when charge % is above 50% try turning your Tab back on, if it turns on as normal, continue mains charge to 100%
