Hi can anyone please tell me if I can use a telecom stick/modem with my Galaxy tab. I have the usb connection and I am rather hoping that I just plug in the stick and then an access the net when I am not anywhere near a wireless connection. We do a lot of travelling out in the country and it would be great to be able to access the net and check my emails - thanks

Very problematic if a usb modem will work on your Tab......I'd say not..

Don't you have a SIM slot in your 8.9 ?

If not......MiFi could be your answer. See here, or check out availability from other NZ ISP's

Cant say I have seen anything relating to a "sim slot" where would I find that? My manual says "Your device includes features to conenct to the internet and to other devices by using Wi Fi Bluetooth or USB cable" doesnt say anything else so wondered if my USB vodem that I had for my laptop would work?
Just reading about MiFi surely if that worked so would a vodem??? thanks for your help
