Hey.
Try to use RockPlayer and let me know if those files work or not. Regarding downloading different files, the easiest way is to download on pc and transfer later.
I didn't try to download directly on the tab so if anyone managed to do this, please advise

has anyone tried dl to pc then converting to 3gp format? this works for me. just get a freeware video converter for the pc, use it then drag and drop to the tab.

I've ripped DVDs to RealPlayer in .wmv format, but when I try to copy to my GT-P1010, it only copies 2-3 minutes of the movie. Would another downloader be more compatible?

If you ripped to your pc and you want to transfer to your gtab, use es file explorer from the market.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Sprint SPH-P100 CDMA CWM/CM9.1
Bell GT-P1000M Gingerbread 2.3.3

Thanks for the tip on es file explorer...very useful.
Found another discussion that recommended Moboplayer for viewing .wmv files. Downloaded that from the Market and it does the trick.
