Hi I have a Samsung Galaxy Note GT 7000. When i switch it on everything starts fine, however the Samsung welcome tune just keeps looping very loudly. The only way I can stop the tune is to make a phone call. The phone is only a few days old and I have updated via Kies. If you know how to solve this issue please let me know.

I would be inclined to reset the phone and see if that sorts the problem. If you have anything you want to keep thats on the phone then back it up as this will return the phone to "as new" !
From the phone switched OFF.
Hold the Volume UP rocker, Home Key and Power Button down until you see blue text appear on screen (Android System Recovery)
use the volume UP and DOWN to select "wipe data/factory reset" and press the home key to select - after this you may have to select YES and press the home key. Once done it will return to the recovery screen.
use the volume UP and DOWN to select "wipe cache partition" and press the home key top select - again you may have to select YES and press the home key again. Once done it will be back to the recovery screen.
use the volume UP and DOWN to select "reboot system now and press the home key - the phone will reboot.
Your phone will take a little longer than normal to reboot this first time - this is normal and nothing to worry about!
Your phone will now ask you to go through the set up procedure as when the phone was new - it basically is now !
If your phone is still playing up then I would suggest returning it as there is something else wrong and with it and being basically new I would return it for another.
Hope that helps.
