I have had my samsung galaxt tab for 11 months and within the past few weeks it has been playing up. When i use my tablet the screens all have some type of delay. On the sides of the screen it has all the apps from other. The backgrounds are not working like they are meant to. Also it has been restarting itself and becoming unresponsive.
Now it is a reoccuring problem. I cant do a factory reset as there is heaps of things already saved
PLEASE HELP. :-O

it sounds like one of your recently added apps may be causing the problem, if you can remember the apps you have installed in the last few weeks,
un-install them one at a time & check after each one, to see if the problem is cured,
if you find the culprit app, it may just be something in the app cache that was causing the problem,
so you could re-install the app & see if the problem occurs again, if so, contact the app developer & explain the problem
Factory data reset
Use Factory data reset to return your device to its factory defaults. This setting erases all data from your device, including
your Google or other email account settings, system and application data and settings, and downloaded applications. After
a reset, you’ll be prompted to set up your device the next time you turn it on.
1. From the Home screen, Settings, Privacy.
(check the box "Back up my data", Un-check the box "Automatic Restore", (this can be checked again after the reset,
but may restore the settings/data that was causing problems)
2. Touch Factory data reset, then follow the prompts to perform the reset.

It sounds like a factory reset may be your only option, from the symptoms you describe......
If you have downloaded your Apps from Google Play ( formerly The Android Market Place ) and used your Google account to do so, then all is not lost.
You will be able to logon to your Google account in Google Play, and they will all be waiting for you to reinstall. Bit of a bind, I know, but much better than putting up with your Tab's poor performance.....
If you take this course of action, you may want to consider if you use all your Apps, and be a little more selective what you put back on.
You might also want to check performance each time you reinstall an App, just to ensure that it is not the culprit causing your issues.
