i wanna ask smth...can my galaxy tab GT-P1000 (7" 3G & Wifi) be upgraded to honeycomb or icecream sandwich???

Dear Sambalsya,
It's declared by Samsung Co. that GT-P1000 will not have an official ICS rom upgrade.
However they declared a value pack aiming to simulate it as ICS will be published but not known when.

It's not the end.
There are some custom improvements.

You have good alternatives.
www.teamovercome.net is an alternative,
And also please follow www.humberos.com.br/p/android-ics.html for Galaxy TAB ICS rom.
I now have humberos rom in my Tab and works very well.
You must know some about root issues, Clockwork Mod Recovery (CWM), and flashing thats it.

If you could state your situation, someone including me can help you to reach ICS.

That's fine Ozcan, but some people don't want to root their Tabs or install custom roms....

In fact, if we are going to "inform people completely", then perhaps we should mention that this Forum is littered with pleadings from people who have tried and failed to root and install custom roms, and are desperate in getting help to return their Tabs to "stock"

Because these procedures come with a health warning..........I trust that if Sambalsya undertakes what you are suggesting, you will stick around to assist him if he manages to brick his Tab ?
