My tablet is about 6 months old. This last week I have been having frequent problems on shut down. I go through the two prompts just fine. Then when it is supposed to be completely off, it restarts just like a pc/laptop restart. It happens 4 out of 5 shutdowns.Also, when in silent mode I used to get a vibration signal when it would shut down. Now only 50% of the time. Any suggestions?

check the latest apps that you have recently downloaded, see if the "permissions" cause "always on"
if in doubt, un-install the latest downloads & see if the problem is cured
re-install apps one at a time & check after each one to see which one is/may cause the problem

I have just sussed out this pRoblem. Do you just unplug the tab fRom the PC without safely Removing haRdwaRe?

I fixed mine by plugging the
Tab back into the
PC, then going into device manageR and disabling the device fRom theRe.
It has finally shut down now.

You won't get any help unless you address the "Signature" request, so why don't you be good and fess up. The whole idea was that we shouldn't have to ask, or try to work out your model.....you should be helping, by telling us - wizz
