Hi, I have recently added a Tab 7.7 after also owning a 7.0. I find Andriod 2.2 is better suited for the small format than Honeycomb 3.2

So I am looking to downgrade my ROM from Honeycomd to Gingerbread 2.3.

Can anyone recommend a good version of Gingerbread to put on the 7.7 and the best way to do this?

Cheers
Crannie

Please think very carefully before doing this. Your machine is probably still under warranty as a honeycomb OS and Samsung won't pick up the tab if you've Romed it and it breaks. You may also limit yourself by not getting the official upgrades, ie ICS

I know it's personal preference but as GB and HC user I really like HC it's the tops.

I agree. The USB connectivity advantages of HC make it very valuable. Not a perfect operating system, but it clearly has some large advantages over GB, which I like on my 7.0, but definitely had some limitations.

Since ICS is now out for this model, why not give it a go before trying to downgrade to 2.x?
