Torque app issues

Hi anyone with the tab 8.9 had any problems linking up bluetooth to a elm327 OBD diagnostic dongle for your car (bluetooth) ? my tab is running 3.2 i managed to link up with girlfriends galaxy ace running gingerbread but my tab just wont have it, ive un-installed re-installed turned off all bluetooth in the area but it still wont connect ???
